Mahé joined KordaMentha in Auckland during his university days and he continued to work for us full time until the call came from New Zealand rowing to join their elite training squad. He left us to follow his dreams.  We sponsored and supplied him with his first single scull and have naturally been involved with him ever since.

The London games were redemption for Mahé who represented New Zealand in the Olympic single sculls at the Beijing Olympics in 2008.  He was stuck down with a stomach bug that saw him needing IV fluids to line up for the final.  He came home from Beijing with a bronze.  Mahé is the five times world champion and holds the World Best Time of 6m33.35s.

Mahé is exceedingly successful and also a great role model for all young (and not so young) kids.  We have been privileged to be associated with him since the beginning and have watched his progress and enjoyed every moment of our involvement.  We are very proud to have played a very small part along the way.
