The 2015 event will be staged from Wednesday 4th to Sunday 8th February, as the climax to an exciting summer of cycling and will mark the 62nd edition of the race.
 
Headlining the KordaMentha Australian Team will be a host of riders with UCI WorldTour experience including Cameron Wurf, Lachlan Morton and newly-crowned national criterium champion, Steele von Hoff.
 
A number of dignitaries attended the launch including the Minister for Sport, Tourism and Major Events, CEO of Cycling Australia, and the CEO of Victorian Major Events Company.
 
The 2015 Jayco Herald Sun Tour will kick off with the KordaMentha Real Estate Prologue, a 2.1km individual time trial will begin in Federation square with riders navigating through a technical but spectator friendly route, and finishing along Southbank promenade.
