The list, compiled by well-known cycling journalist Reece Homfray and published in the Herald Sun, recognises the athletes and business people that have made a considerable contribution to the sport in Australia. The impressive list includes household cycling names Cadel Evans, Anna Meares and Simon Gerrans as well as successful entrepreneurs Gerry Ryan and Michael Drapac.

A real estate advisor with over 20 years’ experience, Berrick has been included in the list because of his success brokering a sponsorship deal for the national team during the summer of cycling, as well as his involvement with Chain Reaction, a corporate cycling charity that he established in 2007 which has since raised over $22 million for kids in need.
