Michael is a specialist in corporate recovery and insolvency. Michael transferred to KordaMentha at its inception, having previously worked at Andersen (Melbourne), Industrial Development Corporation (Johannesburg) and PricewaterhouseCoopers (New York and Johannesburg).

Michael has experience in all types of formal appointments, including Administrations, Receiverships, Liquidations and Agent for the Mortgagee in Possession. Experience in informal appointments includes due diligence investigations, pre-lend reviews, monitoring engagements on behalf of secured and unsecured lenders, investigative roles, bank syndication work and financial advisory roles. Michael also gained several years experience in Chapter 11 US Bankruptcy Law while based in New York.

Michael’s experience spans a broad range of industries, including financial services, media, transport, manufacturing and property.

Michael is a member of the State Committee for NSW and ACT for the Insolvency Practitioners Association of Australia.
