Julian has approximately 17 years experience in corporate recovery and restructuring having worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Deloitte before joining KordaMentha in 2009. During this time Julian has undertaken assignments in the UK, Thailand and St. Lucia as well as working in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth.

Julian has worked on numerous advisory assignments including independent accountant reports, pre-lending reviews, litigation support, cost reduction reviews and strategy advice roles. These include advisory assignments for bank syndicates and reviews of organisations with complex finance structures.

Julian’s formal insolvencies experience has exposed him to a range of industries including mining, construction, vehicle component manufacturing, education, telecom/IT and clothing and footwear manufacturing.  Since January 2010 Julian has committed extensive time to the Griffin Coal and Griffin Power projects with the corresponding exposure to the coal mining and electricity generation (wind and coal-fired) sectors.
