Chris has 25 years’ experience in all facets of Corporate Recovery, Insolvency and Turnaround Management throughout Australia and predominately in South Australia and the Northern Territory.
Chris enjoys the challenges of the profession, whether it be managing the trading, reconstruction and/or divestment of financially constrained or underperforming business units, through to undertaking complex investigations and litigation as a result of a company collapse. He strives to achieve the best possible stakeholder outcome.
Prior to joining KordaMentha in 2003, Chris established Duncan Powell, a specialised insolvency and consulting practice in 1997 with business partner Stephen Duncan. During his career, Chris has performed engagements in most industry sectors for major trading banks, large corporations, SME’s and individuals.
Chris is a former National board member of the Insolvency Practitioners Association of Australia and former Chairman of the South Australian division.
