Cameron has over 17 years’ experience in the corporate advisory and corporate restructuring industry, with extensive working experience in the Asia Pacific region including Singapore, PRC, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Korea and Australia.
Cameron has particularly strong experience in debt restructuring, financial analysis and implementing cash flow improvement. Cameron’s ability to undertake complex financial analysis has seen him in restructuring roles across a broad range of industries in Australia and Asia.
Examples of engagements that Cameron has been involved in include the liquidation of a copper smelter with operations in China, providing crisis management services to a multinational electronics manufacturer in formal bankruptcy administration with operations in China, Korea, Indonesia, and Brazil (LPD Displays), providing crisis management services to an electronics manufacturer in Singapore with operations in China, Malaysia, and Brazil (Jurong Technologies), providing crisis management advice to a semiconductor manufacturer under formal bankruptcy administration (Singapore, Malaysia, and China), providing interim management services and overseeing the sale of Refco’s Asian operations whilst the company was in formal insolvency administration (Singapore, India, Taiwan, Japan, and Hong Kong) and providing turnaround consulting services to Yamaha Motor (Thailand).
Cameron joined KordaMentha in 2004 from Ernst & Young’s insolvency practice. Prior to this, Cameron was with KPMG’s corporate finance and corporate restructuring practice in Bangkok. Before the Andersen merger with KPMG in 2002, Cameron worked in Andersen’s Bangkok and Sydney practices.
