Ben commenced his career with Andersen in the Global Corporate Finance practice before joining KordaMentha at its inception in 2002 and has over nine years experience in corporate recovery, restructuring and transaction advisory. Ben has experience across various industries including manufacturing, training, wine production, healthcare and aquaculture. Through both formal and informal engagements Ben has gained experience in corporate recovery, financial due diligence, financial modelling and working capital analysis.

In 2007, Ben completed a six month secondment at the Australian Securities & Investments Commission within the National Insolvency Coordination Unit where he was involved in the analysis of companies exhibiting signs of financial distress.

Ben’s recent experience includes the provision of transaction advisory and financial due diligence services in the acquisition of a number of corporate training entities which culminated in the successful sale of the group of entities. Ben has also been involved in numerous investigative review engagements on behalf of various financial institutions focussing primarily on underlying trading performance and the provision of key recommendations regarding future options for each client.
