"When I left university I was looking for a challenging and fun workplace. KordaMentha offered a flexible and challenging work environment, with every opportunity to develop my career. From my first day I was given a high level of responsibility, although I always had the support I needed. As a Business Analyst at KordaMentha you work directly with senior staff members, including the Partners, giving you the opportunity to learn from their experience and expertise. Corporate recovery has provided me with a broad range of opportunities to work across industry groups as well as in different roles within each engagement. This means that at an early stage of my career I have quickly gained a diverse range of experiences.
The opportunities to work off-site add to these experiences and give you a greater understanding of the businesses. At KordaMentha you get hands on experience and the opportunity to work with the best people."

"In searching for a graduate position, I was looking for a firm with exciting opportunities, great people and a vibrant culture. KordaMentha has already far exceeded my expectations. As a graduate, you are thrown in the deep end from day one. The learning curve is steep, but everyone is really supportive and truly interested in your learning and development. The smaller team based work means that everyone is given responsibility from the beginning. Combined with the fact that every engagement is distinctly different to the last, it makes work challenging and extremely rewarding. In my first six months I have already worked on the voluntary administration of an electrical goods store, the receivership of a wheel barrow manufacturer and the liquidation of a winery. The diverse work has allowed me to gain knowledge across a broad range of industries and businesses. I have also been fortunate to assist on a large advisory appointment. I can’t imagine having such an exciting and rewarding start to my career if I had have of chosen a traditional accounting role." |

"In looking and applying for a co-operative position, I focused on reputable organisations offering interesting and diverse work that would broaden the knowledge I had gained through my university studies.
KordaMentha has exceeded my expectations with their co-operative program. Not only did it allow a valuable insight into organisational workings, but also provided hands-on work experience as well as several in-house training programs, which helped me to make valued contributions to the firm.
Although, the learning curve is steep, the benefits at the end of the day make the journey well worthwhile. Over the past year I have worked on Ansett Australia, a winery and a variety of other appointments.
KordaMentha has helped me during my last year of university, offering casual work based around my full-time contact hours. I have gladly accepted a graduate position for 2006." |

"Commencing in July 2006, I chose to work at KordaMentha to develop my insolvency career and obtain exposure to a variety of assignments within a high calibre team environment. Having already determined that the dynamic field of insolvency was for me after over four years of insolvency experience, I was looking to develop my career in a firm focused on corporate recovery and corporate advisory services. KordaMentha offers opportunities to work in these disciplines together with its real estate services arm. The variety of work and nature of formal insolvency appointments was a significant drawcard for me. With an established name for large, complex receiverships and voluntary administrations via its strong business relationships and its growing medium enterprise realm, KordaMentha presented an opportunity for me to share my knowledge and extend my experience in a professional team and rewarding environment." |
