The community of Whyalla has bid farewell to KordaMentha, paying tribute to the team who worked tirelessly to save the steelworks in a special presentation at its General Council meeting.
KordaMentha Restructuring today began distributing a first dividend of $500 million to Arrium admitted creditors from the proceeds of the sale of the steel and mining group.
The first distributions from proceeds of the sale of the Arrium companies started to flow today when former employees of the mining and steel group were paid their entitlements.
There was a great sense of excitement in the city of Whyalla on Friday, as the community came together to celebrate the handover of Arrium and the local steelworks to the new owner, GFG Alliance.
